Unlocking Guide: Sony Ericsson

This is a permanent unlock process for all supported Sony Ericsson handsets. Please search for your model on this page to ensure your phone is supported by our service.
NOTE: This procedure will permanently unlock your handset; flashing again with services such as SEUS and DavinciTeam will not affect the unlocked status.
Drivers
Please be sure that you have the signed drivers for your device fully installed. If you have previously successfully run PC Suite on your system then they are likely already installed on your system. If not please click here for full instructions on downloading and installing drivers.
Signed drivers can also be downloaded directly via our client software.
Requirements
1. The latest version of our client software - click here to download.
2. A standard DCU60 or DCU65 USB cable.
3. A working account with at least 50 credits - click here to purchase
Unlocking Instructions
1. Place client.exe in a directory on your primary drive (ex. C: \ DVT )
2. Start client.exe and log in using your account details.
3. Plug the connected USB cord into your PC while holding the "C" button on your handset (W880 press "2", W890 press "5").
4. Once your device has been identified choose "Unlock Your Phone" from the service menu. And press NEXT>>
The unlock server will instantly generate an unlock file and write it to your phone.
5. When prompted remove the cable from the handset, remove the battery, insert the battery and power the phone back on. Once the phone is completely booted up, reconnect the cable again.
6. The client will now activate your phone, finalizing the unlock.
7. VERY IMPORTANT When prompted by the client you must disconnect the cable, power off the phone with the power off button, and power it up again. Not following these instructions will cause the process to be interrupted.
