Upgrading EROM
Some Sony Ericsson phones from the db2020 lines require an EROM update in order to upgrade to the latest firmware; if you are already using the latest firmware than you do not need to update your phone’s EROM.
Updating Instructions
1. Run the DavinciTeam client software.
2. Connect the handset via the USB cable while holding down the ‘2’ and ‘5’ buttons simultaneously.
3. Select the EROM upgrade option.
This procedure is free although you will need an existing account with DavinciTeam in order to access the client software.
NOTE: This is applicable to db2020 phones only! The latest EROM upgrade automatically converts your phone to CID53.
